I am international certified advance alcohol and drug counselor (ICAADC). I am a qualified provider by the state of Georgia to offer education, supervision, counseling, and training to clinicians needing to meet the requirements to take the test with alcohol and drug abuse certifications board of Georgia.
I received my master of arts in psychology in MFT and a bachelor of science in business law and economics in training, CEU, and supervisor provider for ADACBGA. I teach CADC classes to people that would like to become certified addiction counselors and also provides the required education, supervision, and test preparation necessary to take consumers’ careers to the next level of credentialing/ certification to become certified alcohol and drug counselor I/II.
I know this industry very well. I think when it comes to SA/MH there is no better than me. I love working in this industry. I am a hard worker with great reference in this field from my ex-bosses whom I still network with. I have worked with several doctors as well as organizations in developing models of recovery in mental health and substance abuse. I’ve done training in all areas; documentation/charting, treatment plan development, crisis management, PTSD, domestic abuse, child and elderly abuse/neglect, how to recognize and address dual disorders, conflict resolution, resistance to treatment/pathology, and effective group therapy focused on personal growth, substance use and mental health.
